The Workforce keeps getting younger

First Hair cut

Tommy got his first haircut today. The top was getting so long he was starting to do a Donald Trump comb-over.


We were pretty sure it was not going to go smoothly, but Jennifer was a trooper. (Best hairstylist in chattanooga, if you are looking)









Here he thought she was going to cut his ear off. Don't worry they are both still intact.












Then he thought she was cutting it WAY too short.













Even after it was all done he still refused to give us a smile. But doesn't he look just adorable?


I hope I will not come off too bad in his later therapy sessions. It had to be done sweety, sorry.

He did it!

I asked Tommy today where his nose was and he pointed at his nose!! He is a genius. Of course then he promptly tried to pick his nose but one thing at a time.

New House

Well tommy has a new house! We plan to move in at end of month we have a number of projects to do before we do though. Every time Tommy sees the house he says "wowee" and get excited. I am not sure if understands that this is where we will be living or if he just thinks its a fun place to come play.

I know....

I know it has been forever since I have posted anything. Just to update you on Tommy. He has learned to walk backwards, sometimes on purpose sometimes not. He can also turn around in circles, but he prefers to go in cirlces in our office chairs. He also has a number of words in his arsenal now. ironically he pronounces a number of the words with a Boston accent, where did that come from. his favorite word is No. But he is slowly learning to use Yes.
A couple of weeks ago Tommy saw the ocean for the first time. He was quite impressed I think. At first he wasn't too sure about all the sand but once he saw he could throw it he was all over it. I wish I had gotten a picture but one day he decided to try all the sand buckets on his head.

Well compliments of Grandma Gardner, Tommy now can say Stinky! Aww isn;t that cute.

Tommy just heard the good news about Papa's biopsy. YEAH!!! Papa, now come visit me.

Daring Fashion Statement

We have all seen them. young boys, and sometimes even older one, with a ultra baggy pants that defy gravity. I have often wondered what would happen if they were not able to continually keep pulling them up. well here is the what will happen.

update

I know it has been a while since I posted but it has been kinds busy around here. Two weeks ago Tommy came down with an awful case of diaper rash :-( We had to sit on the couch with no diaper for a bout 4 hours to give him some relief. I got peed on twice but thats being a mother for you. We were finally able to get a diaper back on him but pants made to too uncomfortable so we just put a long t-shit on him.

Then he ended up coming down with an awful cold and couldn;t sleep through the night because he couldn't breath. Poor guy! Finally took him to the doctor and got him medicine, that cleared him up and made him sleepy :-) Now he is back to sleeping through the night and most nights doesn't even wants us to completely rock him to sleep. yah!!

We have also been house hunting so that has kept up busy. but enough excuses I will try to be more diligent

He's done it!

He slept through the night!!!! I think that maybe he was just too tired when we put him down (I know that doesn't seem to make sense) but the past two days I have made sure he has taken two naps during the day and he has slept through the night each night.

Why oh Why!

Not too much new going on here. Except that Tommy is not sleeping through the night currently and we are not sure why. We think it might be his molars trying to come in but we are not sure. All we do know is that we had gotten used to sleeping till at least 5am before he woke up and now that is over. :-(

Language

Well Tommy is slowly starting to conquer the English language. He now says Mommy, daddy, wow, ok and yah. Well at least I know that is what he is saying. He will also sometime roar like a lion, a quiet lion.

Yuck!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I dont put up much stuff on here, but I am going to try and do better. I have this funny story that I just had to share.

Brooklynn and I were driving in my car one night and she of course was in the back car seat and she says " MMM good", I said what's good baby, then she proceeds to say " BOOGERS". I laughed and said gross Brooklynn. It was very funny.

Puppy Dog

Both Tommy and his Cousin Matthew got Stuffed Dogs from their Uncle Pradeep and Aunt Sue this year.

First Steps!

Tommy took his first REAL steps today. Unfortunately neither Mike nor the camcorder got to see it. Just me. We were able to get him to take a few more steps for the camera though.

He is just growing up so fast!

First Corndog

The kid continues to baffle me. at lunch he refused to eat his sweet potatoes and carrots unless the carrots were mashed too, but he goes over to Brooklynn's and proceeds to eat half a corndog! Crazy child.
